Smart signal transducer – IDAP

It allows access to signals from standard input and output peripherals found in the industry via RS484 / Modbus RTU or Ethernet / Modbus TCP interface. The channels are galvanically isolated from each other and from their surroundings. The channel of the device are equipped with normal or Ex protection – so a sensor and actuator with a suitable protection mode installed in a normal or explosive area can be connected to it. Channel types

  • two-state inputs – counter, contact, NAMUR version, with normal and Ex protection
  • two-state outputs – voltage-free contacts with normal or Ex protection
  • analog inputs – 0 / 20mA, 4 / 20mA, 0 / 5V, 0 / 10V, 0 / 100mW, configurable from Pt100 software, with standard or Ex protection
  • analog outputs – 4 / 20mA, 0 / 10V with normal or Ex protection

The IDAP unit can have a maximum of 2 side panels. The type of sides and the number of channels depending on the type of channel implemented on the side:

  • Standard input and output modules
    • 16 DIN / CNT inputs
    • 16 relay contact outputs
    • 8 0/20mA, 4/20mA, 0/5V, 0/10V, 0/100mW analog inputs
    • 6 analog inputs suitable for direct reception of Pt100
    • 8 x 4/20mA, 0/10V analog outputs
  • Input and output modules with ex protection
    • 8 DIN / CNT / NAMUR two-state inputs
    • 8 relay contact outputs
    • 8 0/20mA, 4/20mA, 0/5V, 0/10V, 0/100mW analog inputs
    • 8 x 4/20mA, 0/10V analog outputs

To program IDAP units

  • TtyWin software and
  • RJ45 Ethernet interface or mini USB connection cable
